What happens if a customer decides they want to grab something off the shelf and have you hold it for them? What if they call you up and ask to set aside that copy of a comic for them this week?
You simply "Add Item" to the order.
*Please note, "Add Item" will only work with items that have been added to your system by Manage Comics, we have some secret sauce in the system that lets us track items which we require for this to work.
Step 1: Open an order
You'll now see an "Add Item button in the upper right hand corner of the order.
Step 2: Add the item
Click the "Add Item" button (1), then enter either the title or the UPC code of the item in the search box (2) and hit enter or click the button (3).
The item will show up below, confirm this is what you're looking for, and add a QTY (4), confirm the price (5), mark the item "discount exempt) (6), and click the "Add Item" (7) button. The item will show up in the order items below!
What else is happening?
Behind the scenes Manage Comics reserves a copy of the item, just like we do with anything else. All of the regular Manage Comics rules will apply, and you'll be able to remove this, check this item out, or invoice this item as normal!
