If a customer attempts to sign in with a bad email or password, they will get an error that says: 

  • Incorrect email or password.

This does not always mean that they don't have an account, it's usually just that their password doesn't work, or that we created an account during the import process and they haven't activated it.

Customers: Logging in to your subscription account

If you imported your customers from Manage Comics Classic:

When we import accounts, they get created as disabled.  A customer will need to register with the same email address they used to create their old account.

The Register URL will be  https://<%YourStoreName%>> /account/register


When they create an account, they will get a message like this:

We have sent an email to your_email@example.com, please click the link included to verify your email address.

Once they verify the link in their email, it will link up the account and they will see their Manage Comics subscriptions!

Manage Comics 2.0 Account Email Template

Here's an email we've drafted for you to make sending a message out to your customers easier.

You can send this through Shopify by sending it to any customers who are marked as "Manage Comics - Active", or send it using the Manage Comics Classic email system.


We've upgraded our subscriptions system, and you can now get to your subscription preferences right through our website.

We've created you a new account, all of your subscriptions and special orders have been moved to our new system, but you'll need to set up the account on our system.

To set your password, go to <%replacewithyoururl%>/account/register and register for a new account.

Once you enter your Name and email, you'll get a message that says:

We have sent an email to your_email@example.com, please click the link included to verify your email address.

Open that email and activate your account, and you will now be registered with our store.

If they Forgot their Password:

To get to the password area, they'll need to go to the Login URL and reset their password.

The Login URL will be https://<%YourStoreName%>> /account/login

Your customer will need to click the "forgot password" link to set a new password.
